Dune Road Bridge Maintenance Scheduled for June

The Village of Quogue has announced scheduled maintenance on the Dune Road bridge beginning June 2, 2026. The project, expected to take approximately three weeks, will involve structural inspections, resurfacing, and guardrail replacement.

During maintenance, the bridge will operate under single-lane alternating traffic with flaggers directing flow. Delays of 5–10 minutes are expected during peak hours.

"We intentionally scheduled this work before the Fourth of July weekend to minimize impact on summer residents and visitors," village officials said.

Residents accessing Dune Road properties, the Surf Club of Quogue, and Dockers Waterside Marina & Restaurant should plan for extra travel time. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.

The village encourages residents to use the Quogue Beach Club entrance as an alternative access point during peak delay periods.
