East Quogue Farmers Market Returns for 2026 Season

Apr 30, 20262 min read

The East Quogue Farmers Market returns for its 2026 season on Saturday, May 24, running every Saturday morning from 9am to 1pm at the East Quogue Community Center on Montauk Highway. The market continues through the final Saturday of October, offering 23 consecutive weeks of local produce, artisan goods, and community gathering.

What to Expect

The market features an expanding roster of vendors for 2026 — organizers report the strongest vendor lineup in the market's history, with over 30 confirmed participants.

Produce: Several certified organic farms from Riverhead and the North Fork supply the market's vegetable and fruit vendors. Early season brings ramps, asparagus, peas, and spring greens; midsummer brings tomatoes, sweet corn, zucchini, and peppers; fall brings winter squash, Brussels sprouts, root vegetables, and apples.

Baked goods: Local bakers bring fresh-baked sourdough, whole-grain loaves, bagels, pies, cinnamon rolls, and seasonal pastries. Lines form early for the most popular items — arrive by 9:30am for the best selection.

Specialty foods: Local honey vendors, maple syrup producers, jam and preserve makers, and prepared foods including empanadas, crepes, kettle corn, and fresh pasta.

Flowers: Several flower farmers bring cut arrangements and seasonal potted plants. In July and August, the sunflower and zinnia selection is extraordinary.

Artisan crafts: Jewelry, ceramics, woodwork, photography, and handmade clothing round out the non-food vendors. The quality has consistently improved year over year.

New for 2026

The market is adding a community bulletin board for local events and services, a kids' activity table with seasonal crafts during the 9-11am window, and a dedicated pet-friendly vendor section (because farmers markets and dogs are a natural combination).

Live music: Volunteer musicians will perform acoustic sets from 10am-12pm most Saturdays throughout the summer. Lineup TBA.

Getting There

The East Quogue Community Center is located at 8 Montauk Hwy, East Quogue, NY 11942. Parking is available on-site. The market is a 5-minute drive from central Quogue. Bring reusable bags — the market actively discourages single-use plastic.
