Quogue's dining scene is intimate but impressive, with a handful of standout spots that draw food lovers from across the East End.
In the Village
Schmidt's Country Market — Start your day at Schmidt's on Jessup Avenue. This 39-year-old family market serves house-made deli sandwiches, a chef-prepared hot bar, and the freshest local produce on the South Fork. It's the social heart of the village.
Stone Creek Inn — For a special dinner, Stone Creek Inn on Montauk Highway is an East End institution. French-Mediterranean cuisine served in a gorgeous Victorian setting with fireplace dining and an acclaimed wine list. Reservations highly recommended.
Dockers Waterside — For waterfront dining, nothing beats Dockers on Dune Road. Fresh oysters at the raw bar, lobster, and steaks with live music and three waterside bars. A Hamptons classic for 30+ years.
Further Afield
Venture slightly west to Westhampton Beach for more options: Fauna (occupying the legendary former Starr Boggs space) serves inventive seasonal seafood; Flora offers elegant fine dining; Buoy One is the local favorite for casual market-to-table seafood; and Beach Bakery & Grand Cafe has been the go-to for pastries, coffee, and breakfast for three decades.
For sushi lovers, Sakura House in East Quogue is widely considered one of the best Japanese restaurants on the East End.
