Quogue Wildlife Refuge

The Quogue Wildlife Refuge is one of Long Island's most treasured natural sanctuaries. This 305-acre non-profit preserve is open every day of the year and offers seven miles of diverse walking trails through rare Dwarf Pine Barrens, freshwater ponds, and the magical Fairy Dell Boardwalk. The on-site Wildlife Complex houses injured and non-releasable native animals including barred owls, red-tailed hawks, and resident giant tortoises.
