At its April meeting, the Village of Quogue Board of Trustees approved updated parking regulations for the 2026 summer season.

Key changes include:

  • Extended metered parking hours on Jessup Avenue from 8am–6pm (previously 9am–5pm) during June through September
  • A new 2-hour limit for non-resident parking near the village beach access points
  • Additional designated parking spaces near Schmidt's Country Market and the Quogue Wildlife Refuge
  • Increased fines for overnight parking violations on Dune Road from $50 to $100

"These changes balance the needs of our residents, businesses, and visitors," the Mayor said.

Resident parking permits remain free and are available at Village Hall. The board also discussed but tabled a proposal for a seasonal shuttle service between the LIRR Westhampton station and Quogue Village, with further study expected before the July meeting.
